Welcome to SEM2008

The Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Helsinki University of Technology organizes SEM2008, the third international Summer School in Service Engineering and Management in Espoo, Finland in August 24-29, 2008. We cordially invite PhD candidates interested in services research topics to participate in this cross-disciplinary program.

SEM2008 continues the tradition started in 2006 being the second gathering of academics and doctoral candidates interested in Service Engineering and Management. Encouraged by the positive feedback of the SEM2006 and SEM2007 events, we have decided to offer another event in 2008 with new theme topics. We also encourage our networks of practitioners to participate in the keynote lecture sessions of their interest.
